People in Strata is the evolution of many coffee shop meetings. We want to bring together our friends, colleagues and sometimes our opposition within the strata industry to discuss more than work.

Our mission statement is “To bring people together and foster a supportive Strata Industry”

There are many groups that cater to our education, training and career paths whereas we are here to focus on a bit of fun via an old trusted method.  

Important Update for 2026:

Due to changes in industry staff attendance policies and reduced participation at sponsored events, People in Strata is pausing our Gala and formal event program for 2026.   We will instead host optional social gatherings throughout the year that are open to all strata professionals — no supporter fees or event registration charges
